1. Water

2. Cats hate strong odors

  They can perceive a variety of odors from a great distance although their sense of smell does not match that of a canine animal, that is why they hate strong odours like gasoline, vinegar and onions.

3. Forcing them to do things they don’t want to do

Generally, cats dislike kisses, hugs because they take this as a threat, they always feel like its a trap. That is why they like their own privacy and space so that they feel free around their environment.

When they are forced to do things they don't like, they feel stressed, anxiety, and fear and this may lead to them scratching and biting us because they will be feeling aggressive.

Do not think that cats are not affectionate, they will be trying to protect themselves and we also need to respect them with their feline nature.

4. Unknown people and animals

Cats that have been socializing with other animals are better than those who haven't, because when they meet with stranger or other animals they usually run behind you to hide but this awakens curiosity, insecurity and fear to most cats. 

They like being in charge of their environment, so the arrival of new faces may be a threat to them, and this may lead them to aggressive and violent actions

5. Cats hate loud noises

The sounds from; fire crackers, screams, loud music, vacuum cleaners, hair dryers, ambulance sirens, car hooters, and any other funny sound made by machine especially in cities are the most hated by cats .

The sounds that us humans tolerate seem to aggravate them intensely, because their sense of hearing is very well developed. That is the reason why it is not recommended to scold or shout at them because they easily get bored, stresses eventually anxiety and resentment.

Reinforcement that is positive is the most effective and human like method to maintain the cats's good behaviour.

6. Cats hate changes in routine

Cats are very sensitive to their daily routine, that is why it is not advisable to keep changing their routine, maintain the same routine always and you will yield good behaviour.

Maintain your routine daily and your cat's as well, this way you will always be happy and your cat will be happy as well and you will be guaranteed of good behaviour and no stress.

In case of any changes, make sure you keep them alert and aware of what is going to happen e.g if you want to shift to a new house, familiarise them with the new environment before moving in or when you want to make a big change in your house, keep them aware of it.

7. Surprises

Cats dislike surprises just like they hate change (explained above) and this is quite the opposite when it comes to us humans because we like surprises a lot because they seem fun to us, but to cats it may be a threat.

In some videos, you might have wondered why cats get frightened by seeing a cucumber, it is because they dislike surprises. That's exactly how cats behave when they get surprised.

It may be fun to see cats being surprised but it always safe to consider their health as some surprises may disturb their health and eventually lead to some health problems.

8. Balloons

Unlike humans, cats fail to understand why they will be something round, silent, slow moving that can fly and they usually considered a threat and this may also lead to violence and aggression as well.

9. Cats hate penetrating looks

Don't stare at them for a long period, they don't like it, no animal likes it anyway even us humans. They may not show fear when they get starred by their guardians but with strangers thy always feel a threat and become violent and aggressive.

10. Dirt
